maltese female puppy wanted

My family has been saving and planning on a female maltese puppy for February 2006. Our car got stolen on January 21st, was recovered and has been quite damaged so we need to dig into our puppy funds to pay the $500 deductible. Anyway, my son is expecting a puppy soon and my husband will only allow this type of "little" dog so we've been hoping to find a little girl at a more reasonable price for us. If anyone knows of someone selling a little baby maltese girl we'd love to hear from them. I'd really prefer to pick her up myself so she won't travel alone so I'm hoping to hear from someone local (by chance). Thank you!
